Description from video:
Over the last few years, I’ve worked really hard on this project. With every event, I’ve tried out new ideas and learned new skills. I’ve met some amazing people along the way, been lucky to take the arcade to loads of cool places including Museums, Libraries, Theatres, Underground Tunnels and Festivals. Looking back through the footage I see people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds smiling and connecting through video games. This medium can be such a positive force.
In 2019 I plan to take it even further with my own venue at festivals, building an exhibition on gaming as an art form aimed at parents and educators and researching and developing easy pop-up ways to build custom arcade cabinets at a low cost.
If anyone has any great local coop games they recommend I’m always on the lookout. I’m also looking to program some experimental shorter game experiences this year so please comment with any links.
Thanks to everyone who has helped at events, booked the arcade, given me advice and opportunities and in general been really supportive.
I’m planning to make more videos in the future about the stuff we do, game recommendations from all the stuff we try out, the odd let’s play and some live stuff from events. If this sounds interesting you can subscribe to the channel to see future stuff.
